About The Position

This position is responsible for testing RF components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies. The role involves developing an environment of continual improvement using Lean tools and upholding the Bird Family Values: Trust, Innovation, Teamwork, Achievement, and Accountability. The technician must be able to describe the quality policy and goals, their contribution to quality, and the impact of not adhering to quality and customer requirements. A key aspect of the role is the ability to perform calibration and test procedures in accordance with ISO/ICE 17025-2005 accreditation.

Requirements

• Associate of Applied Science degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology or equivalent.
• 1+ years’ experience with RF test and component level troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of RF test equipment (signal generators, signal analyzers, power meters).
• Possess the ability to perform/execute calibration and test procedures in accordance with ISO/ICE 17025-2005 accreditation.
• Working knowledge of script programming.
• Good team member.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• ISO 9001 and/or ISO 17025 experience preferred.
