About The Position

Volt is immediately hiring an Electronics Test Technician (RF) in Hillsboro, Oregon with an American semiconductor company that designs, manufactures, and supplies radio-frequency systems and solutions for applications that drive wireless and broadband communications, as well as foundry services.

Requirements

• 2+ years of similar experience; electrical theory, electronics theory, circuits theory
• Proficient with test equipment including RF sources: pulse generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers, power meters, power supplies, and digital multi-meters
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills
• In depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Nice To Haves

• Associates degree Electrical Engineering.
• Military or similar communications RF electrical testing is good.

Responsibilities

• Setup, calibrate and perform High Power RF and small signal s-parameter measurements.
• Troubleshoot complex RF test and hardware issues with very little supervision.
• Data logging – familiar with MS Excel for data entry, analysis and graphing functions.
