About The Position

Sigma Defense is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team in Huntsville, AL. This role involves assisting in the development of new RF technology/systems and providing existing product sustenance of MIL-SPEC compliant prototypes. The engineer will interact with customers and other engineers to develop designs for prototypes and assist in developing modulation schemes based on customer input and test data.

Requirements

1-2 years of experience with software defined radios.
Experience in programming SDRs using GNURadio and Python.
Intellectually agile and willing to learn new skills.
Experience with SDRs, their programming and their use is a must.
SDR experience can include hobbyist level SDRs to full high fidelity systems.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Effective technical skills (including experience in modulation techniques, circuits design and analysis).
The ability to work under pressure with strong problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in Team Environment.
Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Top Secret security clearance.
