About The Position

Qorvo's Internship Program is designed for college students currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program. Qorvo offers real work experience, exposure to upper management, and the opportunity to pursue full-time opportunities, as available. Qorvo's RF Design Engineering Internships are offered in our High Performance Analog business group. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.

Requirements

Candidate shall be currently enrolled in an accredited program seeking a BS, MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering with focus on RF circuit design.
Student must have completed some relevant RF circuit design course work.
Candidate shall be familiar with ADS or MWO CAD simulation software.
Candidate shall be familiar with EM solvers (Sonnet, Momentum, Axiem and/or HFSS).
Self-Starter with good communication skills.
Must have a 3.5 GPA or higher

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of python programming is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist in the design of mm-wave amplifiers and switches in GaAs or GaN as standalone ICs and integrated in modules.
Perform linear, non-linear, and electromagnetic (EM) simulations using a combination of commercially available tools.
Prepare and present design review(s) to peers summarizing work/results.
Measure and analyze RF performance of modules and/or MMICs in the engineering lab.
Assist experienced engineers in laminate package characterization, Integrated circuit probe test, measurement, and data analysis.
