About The Position

Starkey Laboratories, Inc. is seeking an RF Design Engineer II to contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of wireless designs in hearing aids and hearing aid accessories. This role involves designing wireless hardware through the product development process, testing and troubleshooting RF performance at unit and system levels, driving continuous improvement in products and processes, supporting the transfer of products into manufacturing, and providing work direction to technicians.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related technical field plus 2 years’ experience with RF or Optics Design, OR Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related technical field plus 5 years’ experience with RF or Optics Design
Demonstrated proficiency with RF hardware design concepts, practices, and procedures
Demonstrated proficiency with antenna design and testing
Demonstrated proficiency with design and test methods for body-loaded consumer electronics
Demonstrated proficiency with electromagnetic theory
Demonstrated proficiency with oscilloscope, signal generator, network analyzer, and spectrum analyzer
Demonstrated proficiency with antenna and circuit simulation tools
Demonstrated proficiency with MATLAB

Responsibilities

Design wireless hardware for products through the product development process
