About The Position

Contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of wireless designs in hearing aids and hearing aid accessories. Duties include: design wireless hardware for products through the product development process; testing and troubleshooting of product to characterize the unit and system level RF performance; continuous improvement in product and process; support transfer of products and product knowledge into manufacturing; and, provide work direction to technicians.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related technical field plus 2 years’ experience with RF or Optics Design, OR Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related technical field plus 5 years’ experience with RF or Optics Design
• demonstrated proficiency with RF hardware design concepts, practices, and procedures
• demonstrated proficiency with antenna design and testing
• demonstrated proficiency with design and test methods for body-loaded consumer electronics
• demonstrated proficiency with electromagnetic theory
• demonstrated proficiency with oscilloscope, signal generator, network analyzer, and spectrum analyzer
• demonstrated proficiency with antenna and circuit simulation tools
• demonstrated proficiency with MATLAB
