About The Position
ESS Rework Technicians perform commission work on the ESS according to established processes. Technicians are assigned to a specific location within the field to modify and repair mechanical and electrical processes of the ESS, conduct commission work, and follow documentation pertaining to their assigned station within their department.

Responsibilities
- Receive batteries, cube unload, and document them by serial numbers.
- Test cubes, batteries, and components using BYD software and hardware.
- Disassemble cubes, make repairs and modifications based on engineering or manager’s direction.
- Document all issues and repairs as well as changes made.
- Clean and organize inside and outside work areas, including the warehouse.
- Work with team members to create a safe, efficient work environment while maintaining high quality work product and repairs.
- Help document and repair cubes at the port site.
- Support the warehouse by assisting with organizing and inventory.
- Demonstrate attention to detail.
