Rework Technician

Intervala•Mount Pleasant, PA

About The Position

Intervala is seeking a Rework Technician for its weekend shift. The technician inspects, repairs, and modifies through-hole (THT) and surface-mount (SMT) printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), replacing components and performing circuit modifications in accordance with controlled parts lists, engineering drawings, and quality workmanship guidelines. The role uses specialized rework equipment and hand tools and may assist with solder-machine troubleshooting and operation. The technician also prepares and places components, works on prototypes and complex assemblies, recommends documentation changes that support quality rework, and provides limited direction to PCB Assembler 1 and 2 personnel. The schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. The posting lists competitive pay with a $2-per-hour shift differential and benefits including a three-day work week, medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off. Intervala is an equal opportunity employer. Because some technologies are subject to U.S. export-control regulations, the company verifies employee status to determine whether export authorization is needed for access to controlled items; this is not a condition of hire.
