About The Position

Fortune Brands Innovations, Inc. is seeking a Rework Inspector to join their team. This role involves sorting, packaging, and binding acceptable product, as well as measuring product using tools like calipers and tape measures. The inspector will also use banding tools and band cutters for repackaging, learn product defects, and operate some machinery. Maintaining a clean and safe work area is essential. The position requires the ability to stand for long periods, work 8-hour shifts in varying temperatures, and potentially work overtime and weekends. The role also includes forklift operation and basic computer use with an RF gun.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read and write
• Experience using computers and Excel
• Willing to be trained to drive a forklift
• Wears proper PPE when and where required.
• Must have basic math skills
• Reasonable interpersonal skills
• Able to work as a team member with a diverse workforce
• Must be able to see different shades of color and patterns
• Good eyesight
• Able to work 8 hour shifts in varying temperatures inside and outside.
• Able to work overtime if needed and weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Industrial manufacturing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Understands schedules and daily reporting forms.
• Learns the different defects of the products.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Able to work 8 hour shifts in varying temperatures inside and outside.
• Able to operate some machinery such as saws.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area, sweeping and dusting.
• Able to work overtime if needed and weekends.
• Able to wear eye protection, ear protection and protective shoe wear.
• Forklift operation.
• Must be able to use computer and RF gun.
• Other duties may be assigned.
