About The Position

This position is responsible for setting up and operating equipment that forms or molds ingredients used in the manufacturing of food products while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The role involves operating Forming equipment (Revo or Formax) to produce formed product to customer specifications. The job requires the ability to push and pull v-mags of product weighing up to 250 lbs. and load them into a bucket lift. Additionally, the position requires reading and writing to adjust machinery settings, log temperatures, record downtime, and take drop weights. The operator must be able to climb steps to manually push product into the machine, stand and bend for 100% of production hours, and work in a dusty environment with temperatures of 50 degrees F or less, including wet floor surfaces. The work pace is fast, and attention to neatness with paperwork and keeping the work area clean is essential. Other duties may be assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements

• Three months of consecutive work history with one employer within the last 12 months and/or participating in relative training/schooling in the last 12 months.
• Ability to push and pull v-mags of product weighing up to 250 lbs.
• Ability to load v-mags into bucket lift.
• Ability to read and write to adjust settings on touch display of machinery, log temperature of batches, record downtime and to take drop weights of product.
• Ability to climb steps to manually push product into the machine.
• Ability to stand and bend for 100% of production hours.
• Ability to work in a dusty environment and in temperatures of 50 degrees F or less to include wet floor surfaces.
• Willingness to wear all proper safety equipment.
• Willingness to work weekends when required.
• Must provide government identification number to verify previous Tyson employment history.
• Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
