About The Position

GRVTY is seeking experienced Reverse Engineers to technically analyze malicious binaries using various methods and determine their functionality and indicators of compromise. The role provides information that supports malware detection and mitigation. Analysis involves controlled execution and/or static analysis of assembly code, overcoming techniques designed to defeat analysis, and determining malware functionality, capabilities, callbacks, adversary infrastructure, and indicators of compromise. The role also produces information and documentation to enable malware detection, signature creation, and mitigation.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• An Associate’s degree plus 10 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years, a Master’s degree plus 6 years, or a Doctoral degree plus 4 years.
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Experience with malware reverse engineering.

Nice To Haves

• CISSP, GIAC GREM/CREA, or Information Assurance Certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical analysis of malicious binaries through controlled execution and/or static analysis of assembly code.
• Overcome techniques designed to defeat analysis to determine malware functionality and capabilities.
• Identify callbacks, support attribution to adversary infrastructure, and identify indicators of compromise.
• Provide information that assists with malware detection and mitigation.
• Document findings to enable malware detection, signature creation, and mitigation.
