About The Position

The Engineering, Enablement & Operations (EE&O) team enables the Microsoft Commercial Business to better serve every person and organization’s transformation and economic success. We do this by designing and managing the systems, tools, and strategies that drive commercial excellence spanning compensation, performance insights, planning, skilling, and sales tools. The EE&O Revenue Strategy team plays an important role in empowering every person in the Commercial Business to serve customers better by activating and transforming our commercial revenue engine. We are hiring Revenue Strategy Senior Manager and Director roles to lead initiatives that shape how the business plans, operates, and evolves. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in business consulting, sales, sales operations, information technology (IT), account management, business development, marketing, IT field sales, or a related field OR equivalent experience
  • 3+ years experience in Near Term Strategy (1–2 years out), Management Consulting, or Finance

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration or related field AND 5+ years of marketing, strategy, sales, sales leadership, program management, project management, business planning, consulting, banking, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field AND 7+ years of marketing, strategy, sales, sales leadership, program management, project management, business planning, consulting, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience
  • Experience influencing business leaders and driving alignment across complex, cross-functional teams without direct authority in matrixed environments
  • Experience operating at the intersection of strategy, planning, and field execution within large, enterprise-scale organizations
  • Ability to translate strategic direction into clear, actionable plans that drive business impact
  • Experience leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) tools and methodologies to drive business insights, operational efficiency, or strategic decision-making

Responsibilities

  • Builds and maintains trusted relationships with internal teams and serves as a subject matter resource for business leaders by applying sales, product, and market knowledge to inform strategic planning decisions.
  • Synthesizes findings across sales projects into insights that shape go-to-market objectives. Develops recommendations and perspectives on growth opportunities and strategic issues. Builds frameworks and listening capabilities and works end-to-end to ensure solutions are implemented, and feedback informs continuous improvement.
  • Partners with business, platform, and tools teams to deliver key metrics and equip sales and partner teams.
  • Contributes to sales landing strategies across planning cycles.
  • Conducts market research and analysis (product reports, sales data, geographic data, stakeholder feedback, and specialized input) to identify opportunities for Microsoft sales strategies.
  • Leads sales strategy projects end-to-end by defining plans, goals, deliverables, and timelines while guiding team members.
  • Contributes to revenue planning and sales model design by identifying opportunities to improve planning quality, execution consistency, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Identifies gaps and evaluates opportunities for new strategy or transformation work that supports business growth and operational efficiency.
