Revenue Operations Lead

Vouch Insurance•Chicago, IL
•$115,000 - $135,000

About The Position

This role is central to Vouch's Salesforce Financial Services Cloud instance, which is actively being built out. The Revenue Operations Lead will not only define requirements for others to build but will actively shape what gets built and look for what should come next. This position requires defining field-level rules, stage definitions, routing logic, and workflow states that accurately reflect how the pod operates, including how referral and COI-sourced opportunities are captured and attributed distinctly from outbound-sourced ones. It also involves ensuring data capture standards are understood and followed, so what lives in Salesforce reflects real pipeline and relationship activity. The role will identify where manual work can move toward system-driven execution and maintain a clear view of what's manual today, what should be automated next, and what's blocking that transition. Furthermore, the Revenue Operations Lead will actively experiment with AI tools and workflow automation to reduce manual effort and free up producer time for the relationships and conversations that actually move a deal. This role is not about stabilization and maintenance but about driving improvement through technology and AI, testing new approaches, and building the ones that prove out. The Revenue Operations Lead will also serve as the RevOps point of contact for pod leadership and cross-functional teams, helping to resolve competing priorities and maintaining data integrity on quota, territory, and comp-relevant fields. They will own the handoff from new business into retention, ensuring all necessary information is transferred. The role also includes carrying a share of the on-call rotation.

Requirements

  • 4 to 7 years in revenue operations, sales operations, or GTM operations.
  • Track record of designing and implementing processes that teams actually adopt.
  • Experience building and implementing a process in ambiguity (e.g., a lifecycle model, operational standard, workflow).
  • Real sales-ops fluency, not just CRM administration.
  • Experience with territory design, quota structures, and how compensation-affecting logic is represented in the system.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Salesforce (objects, fields, validation rules, workflow automation).
  • Ability to write clear system requirements and review what gets built.
  • Service-oriented approach, thriving on helping sales teams succeed.
  • Experience operating as an embedded partner, building trust and alignment across teams.
  • Experience treating shadowing as a way to understand and fix team bottlenecks.
  • Curiosity about technology and experimental nature.
  • Comfortable with the test-and-iterate cycle.
  • Understanding of how process and data are connected.
  • Experience fixing data integrity issues at the source.
  • Comfortable building where there is no playbook yet.
