About The Position

We’re looking for an operationally minded Revenue Operations Analyst to join our Finance team. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, this role sits at the intersection of finance and sales operations — providing Salesforce and process support to the sales team while owning core finance responsibilities including bookings analysis, revenue recognition support, and executive pipeline reporting. This is a finance-based position, not a sales role. The right candidate will bring minimum of three years of relevant experience, a working knowledge of Salesforce, and the ability to communicate clearly across both finance and sales functions. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage competing priorities, and a genuine interest in keeping revenue processes running cleanly and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Approximately 3 years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, finance, or a related analytical role
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM; hands-on experience with opportunity management, quoting, and reporting
  • Solid understanding of basic financial concepts; familiarity with revenue recognition principles (ASC 606) preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel; comfortable working with data from Salesforce reports
  • Ability to communicate clearly and credibly with both sales and finance stakeholders; detail-oriented and organized
  • A bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis in Finance or Accounting

Nice To Haves

  • Salesforce Admin certification a plus, not required
  • Knowledge of Sale loft, HubSpot, or other sales enablement or Sales AI tools helpful
  • Experience with Power BI is strongly encouraged

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Salesforce resource for the sales team — responding to questions on quoting, pricing, opportunity management, and product eligibility within defined scope and turnaround expectations
  • Troubleshoot stuck or stalled opportunities in Salesforce; escalate or resolve as appropriate
  • Support contract edit requests from sales reps, coordinating with legal and finance as needed to process non-standard terms
  • Maintain Salesforce data hygiene — ensuring opportunity stages, close dates, and deal details are accurately recorded
  • Review executed contracts in coordination with accounting to confirm alignment with revenue recognition policies and flag any non-standard terms that may affect revenue treatment
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly bookings analysis, including categorization, trend reporting, and variance explanations for finance leadership
  • Support accounting team with revenue-related close activities and help maintain an accurate bookings log for financial reporting purposes
  • Document and communicate standard deal processes within Salesforce to promote consistency; assist with onboarding new reps onto Salesforce workflows
  • Produce regular pipeline reports for senior leadership, summarizing potential bookings, deal stages, and expected close timing
  • Prepare data and analysis for pipeline review meetings; monitor pipeline health indicators (coverage ratio, aging deals, stage velocity) and surface insights proactively
  • Collaborate with the VP of Sales to ensure pipeline data in Salesforce is current and accurate prior to leadership reviews
  • Assist in defining and maintaining pipeline metrics and reporting standards in partnership with finance and sales leadership
  • Assist with pricing analysis for executive review, including revenue, margin, and cash impacts of pricing adjustments
  • Navigate cross-functional dynamics comfortably without losing sight of primary finance responsibilities
  • Communicate proactively; surface issues early and drive them to resolution
  • Thrive in a role that balances analytical rigor with day-to-day operational responsiveness

Benefits

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits effective 1st day of the month following start date
  • Fidelity 401K with a 4% Company Match and Day 1 vesting
  • 6 Paid Holidays Annually
  • Unlimited PTO
