Revenue Marketing Operations Specialist

LevitateRaleigh, NC
Onsite

About The Position

Levitate is seeking a Revenue Marketing Operations Specialist to manage their outbound email program, which is the primary driver of marketing-sourced revenue. This is a hands-on role focused on planning email sends, managing the delivery infrastructure, conducting experiments to improve efficiency, and reporting on results. The program utilizes AI, specifically Claude and Claude Code, for campaign planning, copy evaluation, internal tooling development, and operational automation. While an engineering background is not required, a strong inclination towards automation and practical experience building with large language models is essential. This role requires a detail-oriented individual comfortable with revenue-based performance metrics and focused on optimizing channel efficiency over sheer volume.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in B2B marketing, ideally with direct ownership of an outbound, lifecycle, or demand-generation email program that carried a revenue or pipeline target.
  • Hands-on fluency with Claude or another large language model, with a demonstrated ability to build something (an automation, an evaluation loop, an internal tool), not just basic chatbot usage.
  • Proficient in HubSpot (or a comparable CRM and marketing automation platform), including lists, workflows, properties, and reporting.
  • Genuine data fluency: ability to build own analysis, sanity-check numbers, and defend them.
  • Working knowledge of email deliverability: domain authentication, warm-up, sender reputation, and inbox placement, or a strong aptitude to learn quickly.
  • Strong experimentation instinct: ability to form a hypothesis, isolate one variable, and honestly interpret results.
  • Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A self-starter who takes ownership of outcomes and raises operational issues early.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-visibility projects simultaneously without compromising operational cadence.

Nice To Haves

  • Demand generation experience.
  • Certifications in email marketing or marketing automation tools, especially HubSpot.

Responsibilities

  • Own the outbound email revenue program end to end, carrying a monthly and quarterly booked-revenue target and managing to it week over week.
  • Build the send plan bottom up, allocating a finite prospect pool across the quarter by cohort and last-touch date, committing to a sustainable volume, and maintaining rest windows and suppression rules for consistent lead quality.
  • Own deliverability and sending infrastructure, including domains, renewals, authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), warm-up, inbox placement, and vendor management, proactively addressing infrastructure issues.
  • Own the data behind targeting, including segmentation, exclusion logic, deduplication, and list hygiene in HubSpot, to ensure the right message is delivered to the right person at the right interval.
  • Run a disciplined experiment program, testing creative, offer, and incentive against efficiency (emails per booked demo) and downstream close rate, not just opens.
  • Build with AI, using Claude and Claude Code to automate operational tasks and develop tooling for other teams, such as prospect research and campaign evaluation.
  • Report accurately and on time on weekly and monthly channel performance to marketing leadership, ensuring the accuracy of published data and proactively surfacing potential issues.
  • Partner with sales, inbound qualification, and customer success teams, incorporating feedback from sales into targeting and copy, and adjusting strategies based on field input.
  • Undertake other special projects as assigned.

Benefits

  • Daily catered lunches from locally-owned restaurants and diverse snack offerings
  • Employee-led groups (run club, disc golf club, and book club)
  • Plentiful opportunities to volunteer with and contribute to local organizations
  • Flexible PTO
  • Paid parental leave
  • Extensive benefit options including healthy lifestyle reimbursement, 401(k) matching, HSA/FSA, dental, vision, and mental health coverage
  • Culture Crew and Emerging Leader programs
