About The Position

AST SpaceMobile is building the first and only global cellular broadband network in space to operate directly with standard, unmodified mobile devices based on our extensive IP and patent portfolio and designed for both commercial and government applications. Our engineers and space scientists are on a mission to eliminate the connectivity gaps faced by today’s five billion mobile subscribers and finally bring broadband to the billions who remain unconnected. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Revenue Manager to own the execution and review of revenue accounting operations across our commercial equipment, government contract, and mobile network operator (MNO) service revenue streams. This role is central to ensuring compliance with ASC 606, managing the order-to-cash cycle, and building scalable, well-controlled revenue processes in a high-growth public company environment. The role reports to the Director of Revenue Accounting and will provide review and oversight of offshore accounting support staff as the team grows. The ideal candidate combines strong technical revenue accounting knowledge with the operational versatility to work across multiple revenue streams, including milestone-based government contracts and equipment sales, and is comfortable operating in an environment where processes are still being formalized and improved.

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, including significant hands-on revenue accounting experience
  • Experience reviewing the work of others or supervising staff preferred

  • Experience with revenue automation tools (e.g., NetSuite ARM, Zuora) a plus

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the judgment to know when to escalate

  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including comfort interacting with senior stakeholders and external auditors
  • Good organizational and time-management abilities, with the ability to manage competing close deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
