About The Position

The Revenue Integrity Specialist position is responsible for following procedures to make corrections to client data. This position may also require cross training of services and tasks to ensure effective collaborative efforts are made between teams and departments when needed. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent in Health Information Management
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) role.
  • Certification as a Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner (CDIP) or Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Exceptional critical thinking skills.
  • Highly organized, with superb attention to detail and an absolute focus on quality.
  • A motivated, autonomous self-starter who thrives in a remote environment.
  • Strong team player mentality, dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for both our clients and the business.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of medical record coding, healthcare billing, and revenue cycle management.
  • 5+ years of clinical experience in an acute care setting.
  • Certified Coding Specialist (CCS).
  • Ability to travel for department and company meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough record reviews to identify opportunities for best practice process improvement.
  • Perform reviews with sound judgment.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in writing effective clinical documentation queries.
  • Maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Ensure alignment with customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, providing feedback from record reviews to support optimal site performance and best practice improvement.
