Revenue Enablement Manager

AppDirectToronto, ON
Hybrid

About The Position

AppDirect is seeking a Revenue Enablement Manager to build and scale programs that accelerate the ramp-up, improve the selling effectiveness, and ensure consistent execution of their go-to-market teams, including Sales, Customer Success, Onboarding, and Support. The immediate focus will be on equipping the Sales team and Account Managers to confidently sell across all three of AppDirect's business unit product lines. This role is responsible for onboarding, continuous training, content management, and tool adoption across the revenue organization. The manager will collaborate closely with RevOps, team leads, and frontline managers to translate strategic objectives into practical, day-to-day execution. This is currently an individual contributor role with significant potential for growth into people leadership as the enablement function expands, possibly including building a team of enablement specialists or coordinators. Previous experience running enablement programs and ideally some experience leading, mentoring, or coordinating others is expected, even without formal management experience.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in revenue enablement, sales enablement, or a closely related GTM role (training, sales/CS operations, or field enablement).
  • Some experience leading, mentoring, or coordinating others (direct reports, contractors, or cross-functional working groups), with an interest in growing into formal people leadership.
  • Experience building enablement programs for both new hire onboarding and ongoing skill development.
  • Familiarity with a sales or CS methodology (e.g., MEDDPICC, Command of the Message, Sandler) and the ability to operationalize it into training.
  • Comfort working with GTM systems such as CRM (Salesforce), conversation intelligence (Gong or similar), and LMS/enablement platforms (Highspot, Seismic, Lessonly, or similar).
  • Strong project management skills to manage multiple concurrent programs effectively.
  • A data-informed approach, tying enablement activities to business outcomes (ramp time, win rate, quota attainment).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to distill complex information into clear, usable training.
  • Experience working in a fast-moving B2B SaaS environment is strongly preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience enabling multiple functions (Sales and CS/Support) rather than a single team.
  • Experience through a company scaling phase, acquisition, or GTM consolidation.
  • Familiarity with partner or channel sales motions.
  • Instructional design or curriculum development background.

Responsibilities

  • Enable cross-BU selling by building and delivering curriculum for Sales reps and Account Managers on positioning, use cases, and value propositions for all three business unit product lines, and how they integrate for customers.
  • Design and own onboarding programs for new hires in Sales, CS, and Support, establishing clear milestones and time-to-productivity targets.
  • Build ongoing enablement programs covering product updates, messaging, competitive positioning, and sales/CS methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC, value selling).
  • Manage the enablement content library, including playbooks, battle cards, call frameworks, and objection handling guides, ensuring content remains current with product and market changes.
  • Partner with Product Marketing, Product, and RevOps to translate roadmap and positioning changes into actionable enablement materials.
  • Drive adoption of GTM tools (CRM, conversation intelligence, CS platforms) by training, certification, and reinforcement, in collaboration with RevOps.
  • Define and track enablement KPIs such as ramp time, win rates, quota attainment, call scorecards, and certification completion, reporting on program impact to leadership.
  • Coordinate subject-matter experts, cross-functional partners, and future team members to ensure timely program delivery.
  • Manage the enablement operating rhythm and calendar, including kickoffs, ongoing training cadence, certifications, and manager-led reinforcement.

Benefits

  • Values-driven culture
  • Opportunity to be seen, be yourself, and do your best work
  • Potential for growth into people leadership
  • Collaboration with Product Marketing, Product, and RevOps
  • Inclusion and diversity initiatives
