Revenue Cycle Services Coordinator, IRP
About The Position
The Ohio State University College of Dentistry seeks a Patient Revenue Cycle Coordinator to join the Patient Revenue Cycle Services team. This position is temporary and part-time. The Patient Revenue Cycle Coordinator functions as a key member of the College of Dentistry (CoD) Revenue Cycle Services Team. This position is primarily responsible for back-end Revenue Cycle activities (Ex.: charge review, billing, follow-up, denial management, claims, claim vendor, cash reconciliation, banking interactions, 835 processing, bad debt, payer interactions, grievance management, and customer service. This position may back up staff responsible for front-end Revenue Cycle activities.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- 2 years of relevant experience required such as Dental/Medical Office front desk, operations, scheduling, and or billing experience
Nice To Haves
- 4-6 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) software
- Detailed oriented with developed organizational skills
- High level verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office in a business environment
- Ability to complete appropriate correspondence to maintain patient communication
- Self-motivated individual
