About The Position

The Ohio State University College of Dentistry seeks a Revenue Cycle Services Coordinator to join its Orthodontic Division. The Orthodontics Division provides excellent, comprehensive orthodontic treatment for all ages. The orthodontic faculty members are leaders in their profession and you will work with respected clinicians and educators along with our orthodontic residents to provide the best care to our patients. The Ohio State University College of Dentistry is the fourth largest public dental school in the United States and it is the only public dental school in Ohio. The college is divided into ten divisions with all major ADA-recognized dental specialties represented. The College has approximately 600 students in its undergraduate and graduate programs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Two years of relevant experience in customer service or communications; including analyzing and interpreting information; operation of computer and related peripheral equipment; and information research and analysis.

Nice To Haves

  • Orthodontic experience, preferably in a dental setting desired.
  • Experience in an education setting.
  • Experience with scheduling and registration in EPIC and collecting payments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical office and project coordination for the graduate and pre-doctoral orthodontic clinics, clinic manager and clinic coordinator.
  • Perform data collection, entry, analysis, and reporting.
  • Interface with patients, parents, faculty, residents and staff to schedule and coordinate patient care.
  • Maintain databases.
  • Assist the clinic manager, faculty, staff and students with coordination of quality and outcome measures, including patient satisfaction.
  • Provide internal support for clinical information system software.
  • Works with patient accounts by assisting Ortho Financial Counselor as requested, including collecting payments for services.
