The Revenue Cycle Consultant will be responsible for supporting and leading healthcare consulting engagements focused on revenue cycle assessments, operational due diligence, performance improvement, and transformational initiatives for hospitals, health systems, physician practices, and other healthcare organizations. This role involves evaluating revenue cycle operations, identifying opportunities for financial and operational improvement, assessing organizational readiness for outsourcing or centralization initiatives, and developing strategic recommendations that drive measurable results. The consultant will lead and support comprehensive revenue cycle assessments across various functions, conduct operational due diligence reviews, evaluate workflows and systems, analyze performance metrics, and quantify financial impacts. Additionally, the role includes facilitating stakeholder interviews, developing process documentation, presenting findings to client leadership, supporting implementation planning, and serving as a trusted advisor. Project management responsibilities include managing workplans, timelines, deliverables, and client communications, as well as mentoring junior consultants. Business development support, proposal development, and staying current on industry trends are also key aspects of the position.
