About The Position

We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for United States-based healthcare revenue cycle professionals experienced in revenue cycle analytics, reporting, decision support, financial modeling, KPI dashboards, data governance, business intelligence, and healthcare financial performance improvement. This role supports current and upcoming remote consulting opportunities focused on AI-assisted revenue cycle analytics evaluation, healthcare financial reporting review, decision-support workflow assessment, and high-quality project execution. Selected professionals will apply revenue cycle analytics expertise to evaluate AI-generated reporting outputs, review KPI dashboards and financial recommendations, identify data quality issues, and provide structured analytical feedback based on detailed project criteria.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in revenue cycle analytics, revenue cycle reporting, healthcare financial decision support, or related healthcare analytics functions
At least 2 years of leadership experience in revenue cycle analytics, reporting management, decision support, or analytics operations
Deep understanding of revenue cycle KPIs and financial metrics across patient access, coding, billing, denials, accounts receivable, and collections
Proficiency with healthcare analytics platforms, BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI, and SQL-based data analysis
Experience with EHR-integrated analytics platforms and revenue cycle reporting systems
Strong financial modeling, data interpretation, and performance analysis skills
Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills
High attention to detail and ability to identify data quality issues, analytical errors, and weak AI-generated recommendations
Academic or professional background in healthcare administration, finance, accounting, analytics, business intelligence, data science, information systems, economics, or a related analytical field is highly relevant
Professional experience in health systems, large physician enterprises, revenue cycle departments, healthcare finance teams, or revenue cycle outsourcing analytics operations may be especially valuable
Experience leading analytics teams, reporting programs, BI implementation, data governance, revenue cycle forecasting, or decision-support functions may support project fit
Practical healthcare revenue cycle analytics experience may be considered alongside formal education depending on project requirements

Nice To Haves

HFMA CRCR, CHFP, healthcare analytics certification, or similar revenue cycle or healthcare finance credential
Experience with predictive analytics, revenue cycle forecasting, budget modeling, net revenue modeling, or financial performance improvement
Background implementing enterprise-wide revenue cycle analytics infrastructure, reporting standardization, or BI platform migrations
Familiarity with AI tools and comfort evaluating AI-generated analytics, dashboard, or financial reporting content

Responsibilities

Review revenue cycle analytics outputs, reporting frameworks, KPI dashboards, scorecards, and trend analyses
Evaluate reporting quality across patient access, coding, billing, denials, accounts receivable, collections, and net revenue performance
Assess whether financial reporting outputs are accurate, complete, actionable, and aligned with revenue cycle operations
Identify data gaps, inconsistent definitions, weak assumptions, missing context, or analytical errors in reporting outputs
Evaluate AI-generated revenue cycle insights, financial modeling recommendations, and decision-support outputs for accuracy and usefulness
Review root cause analyses of revenue cycle performance variances and assess whether recommendations are data-driven and operationally realistic
Support evaluation of forecasting, budget modeling, net revenue realization, and performance improvement recommendations
Assess whether analytics outputs translate complex revenue cycle data into clear operational or executive-level recommendations
Review data governance logic, reporting consistency, data definitions, and data quality standards
Evaluate outputs involving healthcare analytics platforms, business intelligence tools, SQL-based analysis, and EHR-integrated reporting systems
Annotate AI-generated analytics content and provide structured feedback to support quality improvement
Explain review decisions clearly, consistently, and with strong healthcare financial analytics judgment
