About The Position

This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position. Shifts will be scheduled Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Applicants hired into this position must be onsite in Madison, WI one to two times per year. This will be discussed during the interview process. Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin! We are seeking a Revenue Cycle Analyst I to perform advanced data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in the revenue cycle for areas such as claim denials, payment delays, and revenue leakage. Utilize a variety of analytical methods, tools, models, and techniques, including but not limited to Epic dashboards, reporting workbench, SlicerDicer, SQL, Clarity, and Caboodle. Collaborate with revenue cycle leadership/department delegates to identify key areas of focus and develop data-driven strategies to improve financial outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, business, healthcare, statistics, analytics or another related field Required
  • 2 years of experience in data analytics, preferably within a healthcare revenue cycle context. Required
  • EPIC certification within 6 months of being hired

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in accounting, finance, business, healthcare, statistics, analytics or another related field Preferred
  • 3 years of experience in data analytics, preferably within a healthcare revenue cycle context. Preferred
  • Certified healthcare data analyst or similar Preferred
