About The Position

The incumbent in this position is responsible for overseeing the daily audit of cage, slots, and non-gaming revenue areas. The incumbent is also responsible for monitoring work performed by Revenue Audit Clerks to ensure compliance with company and regulatory policies and procedures. This position spends time on the Casino floor and is subject to varying levels of crowds and noise, and the severity of which depends upon guest volume. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Indiana Gaming Commission.
  • Must successfully pass background check.
  • Must maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial data and casino policies.
  • Must successfully pass drug screening.
  • Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Knowledge of the Gaming industry, including principles and practices of a capital and operations budget.
  • Knowledge of the following office systems: Microsoft Office Word and Excel, and other accounting systems.
  • Knowledge of 10-Key calculator.
  • Knowledge of sound interpersonal judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of financial systems and proficiency with spreadsheet software.
  • Knowledge of audit functions.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical problems.
  • Ability to review and comprehend all necessary documentation.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to effectively perform multiple tasks.
  • Ability to interface professionally with business contacts and guests.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, and management.
  • Ability to be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.
  • Ability to interpret policies and procedures.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, understanding the potential impact on the department.

Responsibilities

  • Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Northern Indiana their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members in order to provide superior guest service.
  • Responsible for auditing all casino accounting activities.
  • Responsible for verification of paper trail of all casino monies as required by gaming regulations and Internal Controls.
  • Responsible for auditing jackpots, hopper fill, table fill and table credit transactions and the verification of attendance counts.
  • Responsible for the reporting of daily income.
  • Maintains manual accounting logs.
  • Responsible for all non-gaming audits.
  • Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned by the department supervisor.
  • Adheres to all Indiana Gaming Regulations.
  • Attend seminars when needed.
