About The Position

Ensures accurate recording of gaming and resort revenue. This role involves computing and preparing reports and analysis as requested by management, including a variety of audit functions. It also requires investigating discrepancies and providing assistance in other accounting functions, such as accounts payable support, while maintaining related timelines. The position demands maintaining confidentiality regarding proprietary information and activities, keeping the work area neat and organized, and professionally dealing with difficult situations and people. The role requires working in stressful situations, meeting deadlines, and managing multiple business demands. Repetitive work is expected, especially at the end of each month. Adherence to all QBRC Personnel Policies and Procedures, Title 97 and TERO Policies, and HR Standard Operating Procedures is mandatory.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior bookkeeping/accounting experience, and/or related course work.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees.
  • Read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Receiving/storeroom control skills.
  • Computer and 10-key skills.
  • Able to constantly sit/stand/walk during shift.
  • Frequently lift a minimum of 30lbs.
