About The Position

The Revenue Analyst supports the performance of ticket and onboard revenue at Margaritaville at Sea, contributing to both day-to-day optimization and long-term growth initiatives. As part of the Revenue team, this role delivers timely, accurate, and actionable analysis on ticket yield, pricing trends, and onboard revenue streams. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical experience, attention to detail, and the ability to translate data into meaningful recommendations. Success in this role requires a proven track record of working with large datasets and influencing business decisions through data-driven insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field is required.
  • 2–4+ years of experience in revenue management, financial analysis, business analytics, or a related analytical role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data modeling, pivot tables, and complex formulas
  • Ability to analyze large, complex datasets and translate findings into actionable business insights
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to non-technical audiences
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Solid business acumen and understanding of how analytics supports commercial strategy
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable with a continuous improvement mindset

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within hospitality, travel, cruise, or consumer services industries is preferred.
  • Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Proficiency in BigQuery SQL or other data querying tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze ticket revenue performance, including pricing trends, booking pace, demand patterns, and yield, to identify risks and opportunities that support revenue optimization.
  • Evaluate onboard revenue streams, including ancillary products and guest spending behavior, to uncover opportunities to increase per-guest revenue and improve overall profitability.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance recurring reports, dashboards, and analytical tools to track performance and provide visibility into key business metrics.
  • Support pricing, inventory, and revenue optimization strategies through data analysis, scenario modeling, and performance evaluation.
  • Partner with Revenue Management, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to align insights with broader commercial strategies and ensure data-driven decision-making.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends and variances, and communicate actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Assist in forecasting revenue, demand, and capacity utilization to support both near-term operations and long-term planning, including expansion initiatives.
  • Conduct in-depth, ad hoc analyses to support promotional campaigns, business initiatives, and strategic opportunities.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across systems, reports, and analytical outputs used for decision-making.
  • Translate complex data into clear, concise insights and presentations that guide business decisions and influence senior leadership.
  • Perform other duties and special projects assigned to support evolving business needs and organizational priorities.
