About The Position

The Revenue Accountant performs revenue accounting and close activities, supports replacement deal and debook processing, and maintains audit-ready documentation. The role uses NetSuite, Salesforce, and Excel to validate accounting data, reconcile supporting schedules, and support revenue close controls.

Requirements

At least 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or revenue accounting.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Working knowledge of US GAAP.
Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, data validation, and working with large data sets.
Hands-on experience with Google Workspace, including Sheets, Docs, Drive, Gmail, and Calendar.
Strong attention to detail and a track record of checking work and catching errors before handoff.

Nice To Haves

Public accounting, public company, or SaaS experience.
Familiarity with ASC 606 and SOX controls.
NetSuite and Salesforce experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain SOX control workbooks; validate input data for accuracy and completeness using system reports and tie supporting schedules to the general ledger.
Support replacement deal review and processing by comparing replacement quote terms with the corresponding NetSuite sales order and line details, and flagging discrepancies for review.
Support debook processing by preparing debook calculations and tying debook amounts to supporting schedules and the system.
Execute monthly accounting activities in NetSuite, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and close-related deliverables.
Review work for completeness and accuracy before handoff, and document work so it is audit-ready.
Support revenue close validations by pulling and reconciling data from NetSuite and Salesforce.
