About The Position

The Revenue Accountant is responsible for generating and tracking financial transactions, monitoring client payments, and revenue reporting according to company policy and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. This individual collaborates with Client Service Teams, Operations, and the Finance and Accounting function to ensure accurate revenue recording and collection across the organization.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Relevant accounting or finance experience preferred
• Strong analytical, problem solving, time management, and organizational skills
• Excellent technology skills with proficiency within spreadsheets and accounting software applications
• Accurate data entry skills, attention to detail and report formatting required
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
• Maintains high standards of confidentiality of all records and information

Responsibilities

• Processes fee revenue for monthly, quarterly, and annual account fees.
• Sets up, reviews, and maintains active fee schedules and fee grouping in accordance with company policy.
• Collaborates with client service teams to decision items regarding fee schedules and account groupings.
• Prepares and distributes invoices and initiates electronic payments where applicable.
• Independently researches and resolves fee-related issues, serving as the primary point of contact for fee-related inquiries.
• Performs revenue accounting activities – including the posting, variance analysis and reconciliation of ledger accounts.
• Prepares financial and compensation-based reports for relationship managers and management.
• Maintains files and supporting documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and generally accepted accounting principles.
• Identifies and communicates opportunities for process improvements or cost efficiencies related to revenue operations.
• Provides support for revenue forecasting and budgeting activities.
• Performs ad-hoc revenue research and analysis as needed.
• Participates in special projects and other duties as assigned.
