About The Position

iSoftStone, Inc. in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Revenue Accountant to join our Team! This position is a hybrid opportunity in Bellevue, WA. The Revenue Accountant is responsible for ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, ASC 606, WA State tax obligations, and other U.S. and international accounting standards by independently reviewing and analyzing contracts, determining appropriate revenue treatment, and managing intercompany transactions across multiple entities and currencies. Serve as finance contact for Sales, Delivery, Legal, and IT, providing analytical support on revenue matters. Use proficient MS Excel to prepare month-end revenue reports, AR aging, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany analysis. Evaluate and resolve discrepancies proactively, identify inefficiencies and streamline revenue and billing workflows to improve accuracy and timeliness. Optimize revenue recognition and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes to support scalable revenue operations and audit readiness in a multinational environment. File Washington B&O taxes and maintain international tax compliance. Coordinate autonomously with global teams across multiple time zones to ensure alignment on accounting policies and execution. May telecommute 2 days per week from Seattle metropolitan area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or substantially related (or foreign equivalent).
  • 24 months of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or a related analytical role.
  • Experience must include: revenue analysis, financial forecasting, month-end closing, audit preparation involving cross-border financial operations, client or vendor procurement or management systems, accounting systems, foreign exchange accounting, and international tax compliance.
  • Proficient Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, and complex financial formulas), demonstrated by achieving a minimum score of 75% on the company’s Excel test.
