Requirements
- Six months warehouse experience dealing with returns.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Ability to work under pressure.
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Material handling equipment certification
- Six months warehouse experience
- Six months forklift operation experience
Responsibilities
- Opens and verifies returned merchandise.
- Scans merchandise.
- Places freight in proper locations.
- Loads, unloads, moves, stocks, and stages product, potentially using powered equipment.
- Verifies proper item is in the original packaging in preparation for scanning.
- Ensures accurate and proper processing of all freight utilizing the scanning system.
- Identifies items that require special processing or separation (e.g., hazardous material, store services, research, salvage).
- Ensures that scanned freight reaches the appropriate destination (e.g., slot, destroy, salvage).
- Stacks and tapes pallets in a safe manner.
- Observes all safety and sanitation standards.
- Performs additional duties as assigned by management.
