About The Position

This is a full-time, in-person warehouse position with a medical products manufacturer. The role is responsible for accurately processing incoming returns from external customers in accordance with company procedures, evaluating returned product integrity and credit eligibility, and inspecting incoming products against Quality Inspection Reports to determine whether products should be released or rejected. The position is benefits-eligible.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Relevant warehouse experience.
• Good vision and ability to distinguish between colors.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to regularly stand, walk, and sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Responsibilities

• Lead the coordination and investigation of each return, processing returns promptly and according to company procedures.
• Identify damaged returned goods and ensure appropriate notification or communication throughout the facility.
• Work with personnel as necessary to resolve return issues.
• Stage nonconforming products or components identified during returns inspection.
• Move, remove, and place approved returned products in designated physical and inventory-system locations, including putting away saleable returned inventory when authorized.
• Repackage products and attach required identification tags or labels to packaging and cartons.
• Examine products, packaging, and labeling for conformance to company specifications.
• Maintain accurate inventory records manually and on a computer.
• Read and interpret picking slips, receiving documents, product labeling, Quality Inspection Reports, and other operational documents.
• Inspect incoming materials and products in accordance with GF Inspection Procedures.
• Keep current on product knowledge.
• Follow company policies and procedures and practice sound safety and housekeeping in the day-to-day work environment.
• Perform other related duties as directed.
