About The Position

This is a full-time, in-person warehouse position for a medical products manufacturer. The Returns Lead/Quality Inspector processes incoming returns from external customers in accordance with company procedures, evaluates product integrity and credit eligibility, and inspects incoming products against Quality Inspection Reports to determine whether they should be released or rejected. The role is benefits-eligible and pays $22 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Relevant warehouse experience.
Good vision and ability to distinguish between colors.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, and sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Responsibilities

Lead the coordination and investigation of each return.
Process returns promptly and in accordance with company returns processing procedures.
Identify damaged returned goods and ensure appropriate notification or communication throughout the facility.
Work with personnel as needed to resolve return issues.
Stage nonconforming products or components identified during returns inspection.
Move and place approved returned products in designated physical and inventory-system locations, including putting away saleable returned inventory when authorized.
Repackage products and attach required identification tags or labels to packaging and cartons.
Examine products, packaging, and labeling for conformance to company specifications.
Maintain accurate inventory records manually and on the computer.
Read and interpret picking slips, receiving documents, product labels, Quality Inspection Reports, and other operational documents.
Inspect incoming materials and products according to GF Inspection Procedures.
Keep current on product knowledge.
Follow company policies and procedures and apply safe work and housekeeping practices.
Perform other related duties as directed.
