This role serves as a single point of contact for customers, subcontractors, and customer suppliers, coordinating communications across various departments for assigned major projects. The Project Manager ensures the preparation of customer documents and project drawings are completed as required by the contract. They will represent the Company at customer and subcontractor coordination status meetings, monitor activities to ensure costs and gross margins are met, and track/control major project cost components. The position is responsible for the overall project schedule and requires following administrative procedures to ensure project success. The role also involves negotiating the settlement of all project-related claims and monitoring all project activities, reporting progress against plans, and taking corrective action as needed. Additionally, the Project Manager will perform other work-related tasks as assigned and comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures. Facility/Group Specific Responsibilities include acting as the primary liaison between Order Management and Engineering, monitoring engineering deliverables, coordinating with Purchasing for timely procurement of critical components, maintaining regular communication with customers, scheduling and facilitating meetings, tracking action items, coordinating with Manufacturing and Operations, escalating risks to management, ensuring schedule updates, supporting field service planning, and fostering strong communication between departments for efficient project execution and customer satisfaction.
