About The Position

McCarthy Tire Service is seeking Tire Remanufacturing (Retread) Technicians to join their manufacturing team. As a Retread Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, preparing, and finishing commercial tires in a variety of applications. This role is crucial in the transportation and tire industry, contributing to products that keep the country moving. You will perform a wide range of services for all vehicle/commercial tires, ensuring they are properly and safely remanufactured.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Previous experience in manufacturing a plus, but we train.

Responsibilities

Inspecting and buffing worn tires for remanufacturing.
Applying a variety of tread designs to tires prepared for remanufacturing.
Finishing of completed product, including handling and final steps in the remanufacturing process.
Quality control of finished product.
Tracking and monitoring data associated with the processing of tires throughout the retread process.
Observing and complying with all safety and liability guidelines and policies.
Using protective safety equipment to ensure safe operation of machines.
Performing all safety related items as per the Employee Safety Manual.
Learning and maintaining all lifting procedures.
Learning and maintaining all general housekeeping and ensuring daily performance.
Any other duties requested by management.
