About The Position

Snider Fleet Solutions is a leading commercial tire dealer and retread service provider. We are seeking a Retread Associate who embodies an "extra mile" philosophy. This role involves inspecting, de-enveloping, and painting commercial truck tires using Michelin Retread methods. As you grow, your responsibilities will increase, along with training and certification requirements for various roles within the retread plant.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen
• Safety conscious at all times
• Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment
• Coachable, hardworking, and possess general mechanical aptitude
• Must have strong time management skills, as well as close attention to detail
• Reliable and dependable with self-initiative
• Ability to complete all tasks assigned, properly, with little to no follow-up
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and time constraints

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in similar role or industry is a plus
• Forklift certification, obtained after employment
• Commercial TIA certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Initial and CIA Inspection
• De-Enveloping
• Painting process for revitalizing commercial truck tires
• Learn and operate provided service equipment and hand tools
• Work a rotating, on-call schedule, including nights and weekend shifts
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills
• Basic computer and/or smart phone skills
