About The Position

Our retouching team is looking for on-call Retouchers who will be responsible for retouching ready-to-wear and accessories, as well as ensuring image quality control. As a member of our world-class Studio visual production team, you will ensure that all retouched images comply with the SSENSE style guide and that production and productivity goals are met. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and possesses a strong knowledge of fashion and photography.

Requirements

College diploma in Photography, Graphic Design, or a related field.
1 year of experience in commercial retouching.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
Experience working in a Mac (Apple) environment.
Ability to accurately interpret light, color, volume, and texture.
Strong written and oral communication skills in French.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of photography and lighting is an asset.
Experience in the fashion and/or e-commerce industry is an asset.
Ability to drive creative processes in a fast-paced production environment.
Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Creative thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
Proven ability to manage high volumes of work.

Responsibilities

Retouch ready-to-wear and accessory product images for the SSENSE website.
Perform color correction using the physical product as a reference.
Utilize optimal retouching approaches to respect SSENSE’s artistic direction and deliver high-quality content.
Apply retouching techniques adapted to the individual complexity of each image.
Stay up to date with SSENSE processes and creative direction.
