About The Position

We are seeking a warm, people-focused Retirement Village Manager to lead a boutique seniors retirement community in Melbourne's eastern suburbs. With fewer than 50 modern homes, this is a unique opportunity to make a genuine difference every day while building on your experience as a Lifestyle Coordinator, Activities Coordinator, Resident Engagement Coordinator or similar retirement living professional. If you're passionate about resident wellbeing, thrive on building relationships, and are ready to broaden your skills into village operations, budgeting, staff leadership and community management, we'd love to hear from you. Requirements

• Experience working within retirement living, aged care or seniors' communities
• Outstanding relationship-building and communication skills
• A genuine passion for enhancing the lives of older Australians
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Confidence managing multiple priorities
• Basic budgeting and administration skills (or an eagerness to develop them)
• A positive, hands-on attitude and a willingness to lead by example

Responsibilities

• Building strong relationships with residents and their families
• Delivering exceptional resident experiences and promoting independent living
• Planning engaging social, wellness and community initiatives
• Supervising and mentoring village staff
• Managing contractors and service providers
• Monitoring village budgets and financial performance
• Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures and legislative requirements
• Supporting the sales team by showcasing the village lifestyle and fostering a positive community reputation
• Maintaining a safe, well-presented and welcoming village environment
