About The Position

This role focuses on managing and administering savings and deferred compensation plans. The Retirement Specialist will be responsible for maintaining participant records, acting as a liaison between participants and the plan administrator, and collaborating with external vendors for program administration. A strong background in defined contribution plans and experience with Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation plans are essential.

Requirements

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Deferred compensation plans and Non-Qualified Deferred compensation plans are required
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Must have strong defined contribution plan experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain records of participants and beneficiaries including active, deferred, retired, and separated members.
  • Serves as a liaison between beneficiaries and participants and the plan administrator, handling or facilitating requests for contribution adjustments, refunds, and other administrative changes.
  • Researches and assists in the administration of employee benefits.
  • Collaborates with external vendors in order to administer and manage programs for highly-compensated employees.
