The Centralized PERS (CPERS) unit within the Office of State Controller is responsible for administering, reporting, and ensuring the accuracy of state agency employee PERS information and retirement data. This unit researches, analyzes, audits, and corrects complex state employee data spanning decades and multiple systems, applying PERS-specific legislation and policy. As the Retirement Services Assistant, you will serve as a liaison between state agencies, PERS staff, and employees to resolve retirement account discrepancies and ensure consistent administration for over 55,000 current, terminated, and retired State of Oregon employees. Your role involves researching employee records, determining corrective actions for suspended records, and ensuring accuracy and consistency across agencies. You will also provide guidance, administrative, analytical, and technical support for the statewide PERS pension plan and special projects.
