Requirements

Experience in 401(k) plan administration and retirement plan compliance.
Working knowledge of IRS and ERISA regulations.
Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

ASPPA credentials (or a desire to pursue professional certifications).

Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted advisor to a portfolio of 401(k) plan clients.
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned retirement plan clients.
Manage day-to-day plan administration activities, including contributions, participant loans, distributions, hardship withdrawals, and QDRO processing.
Perform compliance testing, including ADP/ACP and 402(g) testing.
Support annual compliance requirements, Form 5500 preparation, and plan deadlines.
Research and resolve operational and compliance issues.
Maintain accurate workflow management and documentation in Pension Pro.
Explain retirement plan regulations and complex concepts in a clear, client-friendly manner.
Deliver exceptional service that builds long-term client relationships.
