About The Position

Trinity Pension Consultants, Inc., a leading regional, independent Third-Party Administration firm located in Akron, Ohio, is seeking a Retirement Plan Analyst, Defined Contribution. This role involves providing technical support to internal and external counterparts, completing core administration and compliance testing for Defined Contribution Retirement Plans, and collaborating with other departments to deliver reports and anticipate client questions. The ideal candidate will possess strong mathematical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to explain technical information simply.

  • Effective time management and organization capabilities with a focus on delivering superb client experience.
  • ASPPA QKA and QPA required or willing to attain; maintain ASPPA Membership.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field, preferred.
  • Prior experience with Ft. Williams preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to internal and external counterparts.
  • Complete qualified retirement plan core administration and compliance testing for Defined Contribution Retirement Plans, including: Census Collection, Non-discrimination Testing, 5500 Reporting, Profit Sharing Allocations, Document Updates, Year-End Information Requests, Client Reports.
  • Assist with Quarterly Valuations and Participant/Sponsor Statements.
  • Prepare Supplementary PPA Statements.
  • Prepare Annual Required Participant Notices.
  • Perform Participant vesting calculations.
  • Calculate employer contributions (including cross-testing / partnerships & sole proprietors).
  • Collaborate with other departments in delivering Trinity’s reports and anticipating client’s questions.
  • Provide cross-channel support as appropriate.
