About The Position

This is a rare, high-volume opportunity created by planned physician transitions. The incoming retina specialist will step directly into an established patient population and meaningful existing retina volume - without having to build a practice from scratch. Requirements

Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Ophthalmologist (MD / DO)
Fellowship-trained in Vitreoretinal Surgery
Active UT medical license or ability to obtain
Strong intravitreal injection and surgical retina experience
Collaborative, patient-focused approach to care

Responsibilities

Established retina-only practice with high injection and surgical volume
Strong referral base from comprehensive ophthalmologists and optometrists across SLC
Efficient clinic flow supported by experienced retina-trained staff
