About The Position

The Coordinator of Retention is responsible for key projects to support student retention. This includes the oversight and involvement in projects such as undergraduate and graduate retention, transfer student support, preparation and workshop support for testing and licensure requirements, support with implementation of college NevadaFIT, and academic recovery programs. Additionally, Coordinator will oversee assessment, research, analysis, and evaluation of data from university data sources and assessment, in conjunction with the Assistant Dean, to help the continual improvement of student success. The coordinator reports to the Assistant Dean and helps with projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and two years of related work experience or a Master’s degree and one year of related work experience.
  • Related experience in a field related to student services; retention; program evaluation; assessment or a related field
  • One year student support services
