About The Position

The administrative assistant, student employee is responsible for providing routine customer service and performing clerical/administrative duties according to established procedures. This role supports the mission of the University and serves as an ambassador of the Q2 culture of service excellence. The position involves writing, editing, formatting, and proofreading documents, performing data aggregation, and responding to the needs of students, colleagues, and community members in a timely and courteous manner. The role also includes answering phones, responding to emails, confirming appointments, maintaining office supply inventory, compiling information into reports, and maintaining filing systems using basic word processing, database, and spreadsheet skills daily. The administrative assistant will also collect, organize, and compose correspondence for department staff. This position is open to Federal Work Study (FWS)-eligible students as well as non-FWS students, with fifty percent of the available positions reserved for FWS students.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled at Lindenwood University
  • Good academic and financial standing with the University
