About The Position

Each year we touch nearly 25,000 lives, focusing on individuals with physical, developmental, and emotional challenges as well as those facing adverse socio-economic conditions including unemployment and underemployment. Currently we have an exciting opportunity with our Work Ready program as a Retention Case Coordinator. Work Ready provides a comprehensive set of employment-oriented services to those receiving Public Assistance benefits, including those who are in need of specific help managing barriers to self-sufficiency. This role, located in our Center City Philadelphia office, offers flexibility and a hybrid environment, including 3 days each week on-site and 2 days remote. This position is full time, 35 hours per week.

Requirements

  • Maintain accurate and timely records of all case management/counseling sessions.
  • Input all data into JEVS/WR database.
  • Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of all client information including electronic, hard copy, and filing system.
  • Maintain employed participants engaged during the 12-month period.
  • Discuss continued gainful employment with participants and relay information to placement counselors.
  • Gather and submit employment verification of participants’ ongoing employment.
  • Provide information about on the job challenges that may affect retention and employer relations and address them through collaboration with staff and/or participant.

Responsibilities

  • Provide employment and retention support to employed JEVS/WorkReady participants.
  • Document all contacts with clients in a timely manner; maintain accurate and timely records of all case management/counseling sessions.
  • Input all data into JEVS/WR database.
