About The Position

The Retail Zone Specialist assists customers and helps maintain the store’s appearance. The role is responsible for customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance, with a primary focus on an assigned store zone. Associates are expected to embody Ollie’s values: be a team player, caring, value obsessed, committed, growing, and real.

Requirements

• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Positive attitude and ability to work as a team player and interact well with customers and associates.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work safely.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six or more months of retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products in the assigned department are merchandised and recovered according to visual merchandise standards.
• Know current promotions and advertisements to answer customer questions and drive sales.
• Support Ollie’s Army and other donation programs year-round.
• Assist with receiving trucks, pricing items, and training new Associates.
• Keep the assigned zone neat and organized.
• Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
