About The Position

The Retail Warehouse at Steamboat Ski & Resort, Co. is looking for self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented exceptional people to add to their team! Retail/Warehouse and Microsoft Office experience preferred. Must be comfortable lifting, bending and pushing up to 50lbs. on a regular basis.

Requirements

At least 6 months warehouse/reservation/RTP, accounting (inventory), or similar experience preferred
Retail store experience, preferred
Exceptional people and communication skills needed
Experience with the retail POS system RTP and Apropos helpful
Must be self-motivated, organized, and detail oriented
Prior experience managing retail/rental reservations, helpful
Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski and Resort Company’s Service Excellence standards
Must have valid driver’s license without limitations or restrictions and meet company’s insurability standards
Must be at least 18 years of age
Lift up to 50lbs. on a regular basis
Must push hand truck load of similar size in all weather conditions
Read, write and communicate clearly in English
Must operate computer, keyboards, and phone regularly
Stand or sit for extended periods of time and move efficiently from one retail area to another

Nice To Haves

Retail/Warehouse and Microsoft Office experience preferred

Responsibilities

Assists Warehouse Manager with retail inventory administration, product delivery, store set up and end of season inventory
Most of duties involve work with RTP, Retail Apropos inventory system, Microsoft Office Programs, Excel, Fulfilment of online store orders
Warehouse operations include PO coordination; inventory receiving, processing, adjustment and distribution to stores
Other duties include web orders, warranty returns, weekly inventory cycle counts, negative on-hand reports, vendor contact, store restocking and POS training
Must be flexible with scheduling and be willing to cover shifts in retail stores as needed
Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements
Other duties as assigned
