About The Position

The Retail Truck Unloader helps deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The role adheres to operational, merchandise, labor, safety, and loss-prevention standards, and may involve cross-training in multiple store areas to support business needs. Responsibilities include processing merchandise for the sales floor, supporting merchandising and store recovery, and contributing to a positive store culture.

Responsibilities

Role-model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and provide the correct change according to operating procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Follow merchandising philosophy, procedures, and standards.
Accurately process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain the entire store.
Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Support store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
