Retail & Trade Show Event Manager
About The Position
American Home Design is seeking an energetic and motivated Retail & Trade Show Event Manager to oversee our face-to-face events program. This role is primarily focused on identifying local events for participation, managing and developing a professional team to generate leads, and supporting our Home Depot lead generation program. The ideal candidate is a strong coach who enjoys working alongside the team to generate leads, possesses retail or sales management experience, and has a background in sales and lead generation. Excellent communication, recruitment, and motivational skills are essential, as is a willingness to work on weekends.
Requirements
- Proven experience in events and/or retail management
- Marketing & lead generation experience
- Excellent leadership skills
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to recruit, hire, train, and motivate others
- Willingness to work on weekends
Nice To Haves
- Home Improvement experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Maintain and grow leads from local events and shows in Middle TN.
- Interview, train, hire, and motivate promoters who work at events.
- Manage promoters, holding them accountable to hourly expectations for appointments set.
- Provide follow-up coaching to promoters as needed.
- Manage sales and marketing reports to ensure goals are met.
- Support the Home Depot lead generation program.
- Travel locally for events.
- Set up and tear down event displays.
