About The Position

Kid to Kid is a resale store that helps families save money, reduce waste, and keep kids looking great by buying and selling gently used kids’ clothing, toys, shoes, and baby gear. As a Buyer and Retail Team Member, you will be responsible for evaluating incoming items, selecting the best pieces for the store, and contributing to a positive shopping experience for customers. The role involves curating inventory, pricing items, merchandising products, interacting with customers, and maintaining store operations. Kid to Kid is part of a growing movement focused on fashion, sustainability, and community, with over 125 locations across the United States, Canada, and Portugal, providing value and convenience to families while also supporting local economies and raising funds for schools in underprivileged countries.

Responsibilities

Evaluate incoming items
Choose the best pieces for our store
Help create a shopping experience customers love
Evaluate gently used clothing, toys, and baby gear
Select the best items that meet our quality standards and current trends
Set fair and competitive prices based on brand, condition, and demand
Merchandise products in attractive displays that make customers excited to shop
Provide friendly, helpful service while assisting families with buying, selling, and shopping
Help maintain a clean, organized store and process transactions at the register
Work hard, multi-task, and take pride in keeping the store organized and shoppable
Cross train and work in other areas of the store as needed
